Schultz Automotive Story
Every business has a beginning, and ours began with a young family, a lot of hard work, and a simple goal: to build a future we could be proud of.
In May 1994, Jeff took a leap of faith and left his secure job to start his own business. With a vision for the future, he opened a full-time service centre on Woodstock Street South, renting two bays from D&D Electric. It was a modest beginning, but the foundation was there.
By 1997, the business had outgrown that little shop, and it became clear that we needed a larger space. We purchased Rudy’s business property at 27 Woodstock Street North, and in April 1998, we built the present 50-by-150-foot facility we call home today.
Through every stage of growth, one thing remained constant: the people.
Customers became familiar faces. Families brought in their vehicles year after year. Referrals brought new people through the doors. Over time, the business became about much more than repairing vehicles. Along the way, we became part of the community we were fortunate enough to serve. We watched families grow, shared in their milestones, and built relationships that went far beyond the service counter. The business grew alongside the community, and the community became an important part of who we were. We are tremendously grateful for every customer who trusted us with their vehicle, every person who recommended us to a friend or family member, every employee who helped build the business, and every person who walked through our doors over the past 30-plus years. Their support, trust, and friendship helped shape the business into what it became.
More than 32 years after those first moments of possibility, we are incredibly proud of what that original leap of faith became
But every chapter eventually leads to the next.
We are pleased to welcome Blueprint as the new owners and the next chapter in this story.
This is not goodbye to the memories, it is simply the beginning of a different chapter.
What began in 1994 with two rented bays and a young family's dream grew into something far greater than we could have imagined.
Thank you for being a part of our journey,
Jeff & Chris Schultz
