Service Advisor
Reports to: General Manager - Fixed Operations

The Service Advisor sells and schedules needed service work at the shop. The position deals with customer needs relating to the service or repair of their vehicle while ensuring each customer is treated as an individual with the utmost care and respect. The Service Advisor must be mindful of shop loading, and maintain organization between the service desk and shop floor.
Core Responsibilities:
Build strong customer relationships by listening to concerns, diagnosing service needs, and recommending appropriate maintenance or repairs.
Manage the customer service process end-to-end: schedule appointments, provide accurate cost and time estimates, obtain written approval on repair orders, and keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
Coordinate with technicians and management to ensure work specifications are clearly communicated and repairs meet quality and pricing standards before invoicing.
Review completed work and invoices with customers to confirm accuracy and eliminate surprises, then follow up after service to ensure satisfaction.
Handle customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating warranty or pricing decisions to management as needed.
Advise customers on proper vehicle care and manufacturer-recommended maintenance to build long-term trust and repeat business.
Maintain a clean, professional work environment and represent the brand's customer service standards at all times.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years' experience in the automotive industry.
Exceptional customer service skills, both written and verbal.
Good numeracy and sound analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Proven organizational skills.
Valid Ontario G driver's license.
Clear driver's abstract.
Familiarity with AutoLeap is a bonus.
